ROOM Proofing for Harlequin RIPs
RIP Once Output Many for Navigator Harlequin RIPs and Workflows
ROOM Proofing Features
Navigator Harlequin RIP ROOM Proofing gives you superior results for your inkjet proofs. Available as an option for any Navigator Harlequin RIP Workflow, ROOM Proofing provides user control of the resolution to meet requirements of specific proofing devices. The high resolution TIFF files created for final output are downsampled and then recombined to produce a color-managed composite file for output to the proofing device. Higher resolution downsampling creates proofs which maintain integrity of the original separations.
The Direct Output feature expands the flexibility of ROOM proofing by allowing a proofing output action to be placed in line before the final RIP and Output actions. Direct Output is fully configurable by the user allowing them to select the RIP for output (if more than one is present) as well as the specific proofing page setup. When the Direct Output action received a file, it is automatically directed to the designed proofing device.
Navigator Harlequin RIP Workflow Integration
Navigator Harlequin RIP ROOM Proofing integrates with Navigator Harlequin RIP Workflow solutions. The Navigator workflow client’s graphical user interface allows an operator to manage and control jobs from virtually any prepress workstation, unlike legacy systems with a single point of control. Job tracking can be monitored on any workstation throughout the production process. Specific workflow sequences can be designated and stored, greatly reducing the opportunity for human error.
